A little about how Green Roof Farms DIY came to exist
I created Green Roof Farms DIY to provide services such as digitizing designs and logos for businesses, churches, schools, colleges, clubs and organizations of all types. Digitizing is the process of putting art and text into a design file for cutting out iron on or vinyl as well as setting the stitches for embroidery. This turned into becoming a designer who made designs for the home DIY’er in multiple formats. These digital designs are put on our website for purchase and download. Once downloaded the design is then stitched out by folks with embroidery machines. I also lead craft training through our Green Roof Farms DIY YouTube Channel as well as the Green Roof Farms Facebook Group. Our vision is to build Green Roof Farms DIY into a retreat destination with on site crafting opportunities as well as a country fabric and gift store out in Acme, Washington.
In late 2018…. I returned to work for Washington State Ferries as a manager to further my passion for public service. I still continue to invest my private time into my passion for making designs and stitching with people all over the world. I also received my first patent for a wearable wrist wallet which is made in Acme, Washington under our brand Wrist Wallets USA/Made in Acme. We are a USA proud company bringing to the market place a useful product which is great to buy for yourself and others. Our product uses nearly all USA made raw materials that we craft into a sell-able product, check us out at www.wristwalletsusa.com. The packaging and shipping is done from Elmira, Oregon in partnership with my Sister Maria Rathburn making us a family strong woman ran company!
I am now joined in the digitizing side of Green Roof Farms DIY by my son, William, who is a junior in high school and learning to digitize and support Green Roof Farms DIY. You will see posts, newsletters, and a new design category for him to list his designs for sale under Green Roof Farms DIY.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING LOCAL!
